JPEG Image means Joint Photographic Experts Group and GIF means Graphics Interchange Format. JPEG is the standard compression mechanism of any image, which is made up of 24 bits, while GIF is an 8 bit format image. The maximum number of colors in 8 bits is 256, while the number of colors in JPEG format is 1024. The JPEG image is full color and sharp images.
